Botox
Botox - What is it
The aging process involves reduction in the production of collagen and elastin, both basic components of our skin's elasticity. In areas with great mobility, such as the face, wrinkles start to emerge. This process can be stopped by reducing the movement of the underlying, accountable muscles. Botox weakens or eliminates these dynamic wrinkles.
Botox can be used in most adults, men or women. It is used mostly in the upper third of the face, near the eyebrows, the wrinkles of the forehead and the ‘goose feet'.
Indications
- deep expression wrinkles of the upper third of your face (around your eyes and forehead)
- hyper-dynamic muscles of the lower third of your face (around your mouth and your neck)
Technique
Following a thorough anatomical analysis, Botox is injected through a small needle straight onto the muscles responsible for the wrinkles. The discomfort is negligible.
Advantages
Botox will offer you:
- a naturally fresh look
- a more relaxed face
